Email Options for all plans
Premium or Standard Hosting accounts
- Paid email hosting: I can configure your domain to route your email to a paid Google Workspace account. You can access your email via a Gmail interface but email accounts will use your domain. Office 360 is the other popular option. Prices are around $7.50/mo per account.
- Zoho email is a less expensive option. some features like spam filtering may not be as robust.
- Free email redirects: Cloudflare supports free redirects. This means there is no real “inbox” and when you reply to an email it will come from your other account
Standard Hosting Email Options
In almost all cases I require hosting email elsewhere – that keeps your website fast and is common practice for WordPress-specific hosting services. Under special circumstances, I can host email on my Standard service (even if your website is hosted on my Premium service)
- Rates start at $5/month per email account
- $3/month/account: “redirects” only
- POP email accounts (with aliases, redirects, mail groups and autoresponders)
- No limit on email storage (except the overall disk usage limit of your account)
- Browser-based access to email via webmail
- SpamAssassin spam filters
